For this new project I have been asked to create a bug container for children that is about 80% of recycled plastic. the container must be easy to hold and provide good visibility where required.

I have decided to choose this project because I think that more children need to start going outside more and exploring, instead of staying inside all the time.

The processes that i will be using will include clay making, painting with acryllic paints and illustrating.

My target audience will be children aged 5+ as some parts of it may be unsuitable.

For my primary research i will look at how live bugs are already contained as it will give me ideas on how to provide ventilation and other things for my bug container.

For my secondary research I will look at current bug containers. This will help me as it will give me inspiration for my final piece.

In this project it does not seem that there are many major constraints as we have been given a lot of freedom.

Techniques/ Processes I will use: Sketching, Blogging, Sculpting.

Project Deadline- Tuesday 19th December 2017. I will spend 6 weeks on this project
