Farmaggedon Reflection

For my primary research I looked through different types of leaflets to find different types of typography and what they use for different ways they use typography to intrigue the reader. For my secondary research I went onto the computer and looked at similar attractions like Alton Towers Scarefest as they to have actors dressed up and also have different events going on. I have looked at many different artists and designers through out this project, for example Tara McPherson, Drew Millward and Paula Rego. My initial ideas were to make a one poster and six postcards. However I have decided to produce two posters and four postcards. The materials and techniques that I have used are painting for my posters and postcards as I like the look of the different textures within the paint. I think that these processes work very well for me.

My final outcomes were influenced by Victorian's Halloween as they were extremely eerie and scary. I chose the techniques and materials as I am a creative person and prefer making my work by hand instead of using a computer. I think that my final outcomes do communicate with my intended target audience. I made quite a few changes about my final outcomes though out my project as I didn't like my initial ideas. I learn from this project that I need to start doing more stuff on photoshop and illustrator as I still haven't had a final outcome that has bee done on the computer. I think that my final piece was successful, however I do think that it could have been better as I didn't put as much effort into this project compared to the others.
