Drew Millward is an English artist, who has had work exhibited all around the world which is pretty amazing for an English artist as usually the American artists are more popular. I really like Drew's work because I love the way he uses different textures throughout his artwork, as in my opinion it brings the piece to life and also intrigues the public a lot more, compared to a poster with no textures. Also from my research I have found out that he likes draw "the old fashioned way", which I think is really unique in the graphics world as most graphic artists just go straight onto photoshop and illustrator, but Drew is like me as I prefer to draw out my final ideas with paper and pencil and then if I have enough time I will then sketch it out on the macs. I need to practice more on the macs as I am still not confident enough to have a final piece done using them because if it doesn't go to plan or doesn't look right I won't like it at all. Below are my favourite pieces of Drew's work. I like them because I love the colours he has used and the illustrations, in my opinion are amazing.
