Surrealism is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s, and is best known for its visual artworks. Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects, and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself. I really like surrealism as it is a great way to hep source new ideas that are floating around your brain. It is also great for when you have a creative block as you can go a bit mad and find a brand new style of drawing things. Here are a few examples of surrealism.
